Morgan’s Nor West Bend Scenic Loop Drive

A great drive around the western part of the Riverland. From Morgan you can head to Waikerie and call in on Cadell, Caudo Winery and enjoy Hart Lagoon via Ramco. On the Overland Highway you can call in on Lock 2. Head along the Sturt Highway towards Blanchetown to see Lock 1 and a quiet, yet nice drive along the Murray River to the stunning lookout at Pelican Point before crossing the free 24 hour ferry to Morgan. Murray River Scenic Cliffs Drive to Mannum

Heading south from the great Nor West Bend you can enjoy a stunning drive towards Mannum along some of the most stunning scenery in South Australia. Taking in the cliffs from Morgan to Mannum is a great drive along the ancient landscape. More >

Mid North along the Murray River Drive

For a highly unique and wonderful drive from Adelaide consider the Mid North Murray River Loop. Taking in the beauty of the Mid North through Kapunda and its mining heritage you can head towards the lovely wine region of Clare. Then head east towards Burra and enjoy the unique mining heritage. From Burra short drive to Morgan where you can head down along the Murray River Scenic Cliffs Drive to Mannum and then back through the Adelaide Hills through to Hahndorf and back to Adelaide. The drive can take 2 to 3 days and gives you a great insight to the magic of South Australia’s diverse landscapes and great Murray River. More >
